How much does BP Entertainment charge?
It depends on a few things:
1) The Act(s) you’re looking to book;
1) The exact date of your function;
2) The exact times from and till you’d like to engage Entertainment for; and
3) The exact venue that you intend to hold your function at.
In order to obtain a quote, please contact us and provide us with the required information as per above. Should you email us, please be sure to include your mobile telephone number as we may give you a buzz.

Does BP Entertainment require a deposit?
BP Entertainment doesn’t actually require a deposit of any kind. As far as we’re concerned, once you’ve provided the ‘green light’ and agreed to engage our services, from that point onwards the arrangement is considered to be a formed legally binding contract. BP Entertainment generally requires full payment prepaid seven days in advance of the date of service. This along with all the relevant details in regards to making payment will be covered in the Terms of Engagement that will be sent out to you about 30 days in advance of your function.

What requirements do Acts have?
Depending on the act booked, we’ll require a certain amount of flat area space as well as a certain amount of local power outlets. Please contact us for more information.

When do Acts arrive to setup?
Generally arrival will be about 45 minutes prior to the agreed start time. Regardless of the arrival time, it is assured that we’ll be ready to commence service as per the agreed start time.

If requested, will Acts arrive and setup at a specific time earlier in the day?
Yes, however it is frowned upon. An additional small fortune of a fee will apply. Please contact us for more information.

How long do sets go for?
It depends on the Act hired but generally, it’s 40-on and 20-off per hour in terms of set times. That being said, given the nature of functions, we’ll work closely with your MC or whoever is running your function over the course of the event to fine tune set breaks in accordance with your formalities to ensure that you receive optimum value.

What happens in terms of music during set breaks?
Acts generally supply pre-recorded background music for during set breaks to keep the vibe intact.

Are you able to supply the music for during set breaks?
Yes. If you have specific songs you’d like played during our set breaks, you’re most welcome to supply us with your own iPod/Mp3 Player with your own customised playlist during the event and we’ll play it through our PA system during set breaks accordingly.

Will talent and crew require meals?

Will talent and crew require both soft and alcoholic beverages?

Does the talent have any dietary requirements?
Yes. There are seafood allergies amongst BP Entertainment personnel. Could you order ‘red meat’ meals for the band and crew please? Thanks 🙂

What happens if we require entertainment for longer than the time we’ve booked?
If you come to the realisation during your function that you require an extension in service duration, it may be negotiated there and then with the Act. However it should be noted that it may not be viable to continue providing service beyond the agreed conclusion time. Accordingly, it’s very much in your interests to figure out exactly what time you’d like the entertainment to conclude (even if it means engaging an Act beyond the anticipated conclusion time as a safety precaution).

Can we request the songs played?
NOTE: Applicable to Piano Man, BP Acoustic and BP All-Stars acts only

If you have any special requests of any particular songs from the Song Library you’d like to hear, be sure to either email us a list in advance or present us with a list on the day of songs you’d like to hear played and we’ll do our best to include as many we can!

What are the set lists?
Generally there aren’t strict set lists adhered to but instead songs are chosen a ‘song by song’ basis. This ensures that what is performed suits the moment best.

Not really.

If there’s a song that you’d really like played for your Bridal Waltz and it’s not within the Song Library, can it be learnt?
Generally no. If unable to perform your Bridal Waltz of choice, we’ll be sure to acquire an mp3 of the song on your behalf and play it through the PA system for you instead to ensure that that you are provided with your ideal Bridal Waltz of choice.

What are the popular Bridal Waltz’s performed?
Popular Bridal Waltz’s performed include:

Unfortunately musicians do not provide an MC service. What is strongly suggested is that you have someone along the lines of a sibling, close friend or relative to MC the wedding in the interests of providing the occasion with a sense of personal touch. Out of the many weddings that BP Entertainment has serviced, this has literally always been the case.

Do Acts provide all necessary PA equipment?

Yes. It is worth noting though that the microphone however is non-wireless (as opposed to wireless).

Not really. If you’d like to check out the BP Entertainment Gig Guide, you’ll find a page listing all of Bill Parton’s upcoming public performances. If you would like to come along to one of the upcoming performances, it’d be a great opportunity to meet up face to face and discuss your wedding. Please do make yourself known and be sure to let Bill know of any songs that you’d like played. Alternatively, contact Bill via telephone (0402 612 174) to run through any specific details that you may like to discuss.
